Q: What is Internet Banking?
A: Internet Banking, also called Online Banking, is a tool that allows you to use a personal computer or mobile device with an Internet connection to conduct your banking online.
Q: What can I do with Internet Banking?
A: You can view account balances and transaction history, transfer money, and download transactions to a personal financial manager and much more. You can also sign up for Online Bill Pay that allows you to pay your bills quickly and easily! Click here for more information on Online Bill Pay.
Q: How do I signup for Internet Banking?
A: You must first complete the Internet Banking registration form and submit it to us. You will select a username and password when you fill out the registration form, and once it is submitted we will review your registration application. After we accept your application, you will receive an email alerting you that you will be able to start using Internet Banking within 24 hours. You must have an existing checking, savings or loan account before banking online.
Q: Is any of my personal information stored in the Internet Banking product?
A: Yes, the Internet Banking product encrypts and stores your Username, password and user preferences. However, Customer Service Representatives do not have access to your password and user preferences for your security. If you keep a stock portfolio, that information is also stored.
Q: How current is my banking information?
A: Your account information is updated at the end of every business day with new transactions that were posted to your account that day. You will also see pending transactions, such as Visa Check Card purchases, immediately as memo posted items.
Q: What accounts will I be able to access through Internet Banking?
A: You can access your checking, savings, investment and loan accounts from the Internet banking service. Our Internet Banking Product is intended to give you as much access, security, and versatility as possible.
Q: How much account information can I view at once?
A: The system will automatically show the last 10 days' transactions and information. You can choose to view transactions and information in 30 day increments, monthly increments, or a custom date range that you create.
Q: Can I view my account details in more than one way?
A: Yes, you can view your accounts by date, description, deposit or withdrawal amounts, or balance in ascending or descending order.
Q: What formats can I download my transaction history in?
A: Internet Banking supports downloads to QuickenTM 2004 and earlier, Microsoft MoneyTM or as a comma-delimited text file.
Q: When can I use Internet Banking services?
A: With Internet Banking, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Q: How many stocks can I track in my online portfolio?
A: Your online portfolio will track up to 20 stocks.
Q: How long can I be inactive before being logged out of the Internet Banking product?
A: The inactivity time out default is set for 20 minutes.
Q: Are there any requirements to keep my Online Banking account?
A: We only require that you use your Online Banking at least once every six months. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel your online banking account access if we suspect your account has been compromised or misused. If you want to cancel the service at any time, please contact us.
Q: What is required to use the Internet Banking service?
A: All you need to use Internet Banking is a secure browser that supports 128 bit encryption, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer®, Google Chrome® or Safari®. You can use any computer or mobile device that has Internet access.
Q: Can I create my own password that is easy for me to remember?
A: Yes, you will create your own password when you register for Online Banking. You can also change your password once you have logged in to Online Banking by going to "My Profile".
Q: What happens if I forget or lose my password?
A: When you login the first time, you will be asked to enter a personal phone number that can be used to receive a one time use passcode whenever additional verification is needed when logging in. In the instance that you cannot remember your login password, simply click on the "Forgot Password?" link in the login box and you will receive a one time use passcode to verify your identity; you can then reset your password. If you still cannot login just contact us at any of our banking locations during business hours, and we will take you through the steps needed to get you back into Online Banking immediately.
